Prime Honors Vets with “Fast Track” Truck Driving Jobs

James KeatonPrime is grateful for the men and women who protect America’s freedom through military service. To demonstrate their appreciation, they have developed a program to help veterans get into rewarding and well-paying truck driving jobs. Prime’s Military Fast Track program is designed to get service men and women transitioning out of the military into a new career quickly by offering CDL driving jobs that get them trained and on the road quickly. The program is open to all military veterans who are at least 21 years of age and have been honorably discharged from the service.

No previous experience is necessary to get truck driving jobs through the Fast Track program. Prime will provide all the vocational and hands-on training required to prepare students for entering the exciting world of CDL driving jobs as quickly as possible, sometimes in as little as four weeks. Once veterans obtain their CDL license through the Military Fast Track, they begin earning a guaranteed minimum of $600 a week while they continue to train on the road. Hundreds of military veterans already drive for Prime in their refrigerated, tanker, and flatbed divisions..

Tod-Bishop1Todd Bishop is one such vet that has found a home with Prime in one of its truck driving jobs. Todd, who left the Army after eight years of service, is proud to be a military veteran and a Prime Driver hauling freight across the country in the refrigerated division since March of 2011.. His success with Prime has allowed him to buy his own truck, which he has made a rolling memorial to military veterans everywhere. Todd’s 2014 Kenworth T680 is wrapped in camouflage and sports MIA POW mud flaps and Army decals on the sides. He’ll soon be modifying the gear shift and putting dog tags on the front as well. It’s his way of showing his pride for his country and also serves to remind everyone of the sacrifices made by veterans. The company is honored to have veterans like Todd in truck driving jobs as part of the Prime Family.

In addition to saluting vets through its Military Fast Track Program, Prime also actively participates in the Wreathes Across America and Operation Gratitude programs, among others. Last year, the company also started providing decals to all military veterans in the fleet for them to proudly display on the sides of their trucks. Over 500 of Prime’s Drivers currently have these decals displayed on their rigs. Prime is eternally grateful for the sacrifices made by military members both professionally and personally and wants to do its part to honor those sacrifices by making the transition back to civilian life simple and profitable. Truck driving jobs through Prime’s Military Fast Track Program are open to all vets regardless of driving experience, and designed to get them on the road quickly in a new career with tremendous upside.

If you’re an honorably discharged military veteran, or will soon be leaving military service and looking for a new career, Prime has the truck driving jobs you want and need to make a great living after the service.
