Prime Student Driver (PSD) Program
If you’ve never driven before, that’s fine. You’ve come to the right place! Prime offers the PSD program to help individuals obtain their Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). During the PSD program, you will hit the road with a certified trainer for some one-on-one, hands-on training. Once you pass your final CDL skills test, you will begin to earn guaranteed pay! There are other great benefits to the PSD Program, as well, such as a loan option during training to help pay for food and incidentals. If you drive for Prime for one full year, they will forgive the entire cost of the PSD training ($3500 value). At that point, the only cost to you for the PSD program would be the one-time $100 administrative fee. What a deal!
Driver Health and Fitness Program
Prime believes that a healthy driver is a safe driver. They support and encourage their drivers to take care of their health while out on the road. They know this can be a difficult task, and therefore, they provide a program called Driver Health and Fitness (DHF) to all of their drivers. The DHF program was created by former Prime Driver Siphiwe Baleka. The program was created by a driver for drivers and does not require anything that cannot be easily accomplished out on the road in a truck.

If you think choosing a truck driving career forces you to forgo a college education, think again. Prime’s Success Scholars program helps you earn a college degree while on the road, thanks to a partnership with Bethel University. This online program gives potential Prime truck drivers like you and your dependents deep discounts on college courses, which you can “attend” from home or from the cab of your truck.
On-Site Salon & Spa and More
Need a little pick-me-up? Prime’s on-site Tru Salon & Spa at the Missouri and Pennsylvania terminals could be just what you need to relax between routes. They offer hair, nail, and massage services at both locations. The Prime Millennium Building in the terminal in Springfield, MO is full of great amenities and staff to support and aide drivers to do the best possible job they can including a movie theater, café, full court gym, weight room, mail room, company store, pet wash, laundry facility, and showers.
