COMPANY TRUCK DRIVER PAY & BENEFITS

50 CPM
REFRIGERATED DRIVERS
Solo company drivers hauling refrigerated trailers earn 50 cents per mile plus an additional 5 cents per mile with a lightweight tractor driving for Prime.
52 CPM
FLATBED DRIVERS
Solo company drivers hauling flatbed trailers earn 52 cents per mile plus securement pay.
57 CPM
TANKER DRIVERS
Solo company drivers hauling tanker trailers earn 57 cents per mile.
MEDICAL INSURANCE & DENTAL INSURANCE
Prime offers full medical, pharmacy and dental insurance options to all company drivers and their families. If you, your spouse, or your children get sick or need medical attention, you can rest assured knowing you have coverage options under Prime. Company drivers have their choice of in-network doctors for healthcare needs.
LIFE INSURANCE
Life insurance options for company drivers allow drivers to take care of their spouses and/or children after a death. All Prime company drivers have a one-time opportunity to elect Term Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) coverage during their new hire enrollment. Company drivers also have the opportunity to obtain supplemental life insurance and AD&D.
RETIREMENT
Prime’s 401(k) Success Sharing plan is available for company drivers beginning the first full quarter after being with Prime for 6 months. For every dollar you put into the 401(k) account, Prime will match it up to the first 3% deferred, and we’ll match 50% on the next 2% deferred. Your money is immediately vested.
PAID VACATION
It’s important to Prime that our drivers are well-rested, which is why we offer paid vacation to all company drivers. Company drivers can receive up to $2,800 in paid vacation each year, depending on how many miles they drive.
EDUCATION
Prime is happy to provide the Prime Success Scholars program through Bethel University to our drivers and their dependents. The program offers deep discounts off tuition as well as room and board to our associates and their dependents.
HOME TIME
Even though we’re a big family here at Prime, no one can replace your real family. Drivers get 24 hours for every 7 days on the road. This means if you’re on the road for 4 weeks, you’ll get 4 days at home before going back out.
TEAM COMPANY DRIVER PAY
Team company drivers earn more at Prime. Team company drivers earn a 26 cpm bonus for miles between 3,000-3,999 per week and a 31 cpm bonus for miles over 4,000 per week.

COMPANY WHILE YOU DRIVE
PET PROGRAM
Want a furry friend to keep you company while you’re on the road? Prime is pleased to allow company drivers to have a single pet in their truck with a refundable pet deposit of $1,000. Your pet must be 40 pounds or under. There is no pet deposit for independent contractors.

PRIME TIME CERTIFIED AWARD
The PTC award program recognizes driver associates who achieve continuous, outstanding on-time performance throughout the year (quarterly, semi-annually, and annually). Awards include patches, belt buckles, shirts, and sweaters. At the 2-year level, associates receive a gold ring with one diamond. With every additional year of continuous on-time service, a diamond is added to the ring.
DRIVER REFERRAL BONUS
Prime is always looking for new driver associates. Earn extra money by referring drivers and helping Prime grow. Refer 3 drivers who stay at least 6 months, and you will earn $2,800, not including the additional mileage pay!
MILLIONAIRES PROGRAM
Prime’s Millionaires program recognizes driver associates who have driven at least 1 million miles without a preventable accident. Qualifying driver associates receive an invitation to the annual Night of the Millionaires Banquet which honors and celebrates members of this exclusive club. They also receive a personalized plaque displayed prominently in Prime’s Hall of Fame located in the Springfield terminal.
SAFETY AWARD
The Safety Award program recognizes company drivers who operate without a preventable accident. Awards are given after 6 months, 1 year, and then every year thereafter.
CLC LODGING DISCOUNTS
This program offers Prime drivers discounts on hotels across the country.
PALACE CASINO RESORT DISCOUNT
Palace Casino Resort in Biloxi, MS offers Prime associates discounts on hotel accommodations, golf, and food. Truck parking is available.
