Prime Inc. Joins Forces with Bethel University

Have you always dreamed of completing your college education? As a driver for Prime Inc., it’s not too late to earn a college degree. Prime Inc. has joined forces with Bethel University to create a new program called Prime’s Success Scholars. Here are more details explaining why many members of the Prime Inc. Family should also become members of the Bethel University family.

How was the Partnership Formed?

Vera Low, a co-founder of Prime Inc., was an active Board of Trustees member at Bethel University for many years before her passing. She developed a deep love for Bethel and was cherished by all who knew her.

In 2011, Vera’s son Robert Low donated $7 million toward the construction of the Vera Low Center for Student Enrichment. This gesture helped foster a strong relationship between Prime Inc. and the university Robert’s mother loved so much.

In 2012, the Prime’s Success Scholars program was formed, making Bethel the university of choice for more than 6,000 drivers, 1,000 non-drivers at Prime, and countless family members who qualify for the program. The partnership creates a unique opportunity for drivers to complete a college degree while still maintaining a busy truck driver’s schedule.

Why Drivers Should Choose Bethel University

Many online universities give you the chance to complete your undergraduate or graduate degree from the cab of a truck, but incredible financial savings await you with the Prime’s Success Scholars program.

As a Prime Inc. associate, you and your dependents receive incredible tuition reductions, including:

  • 50 percent tuition reduction when you enroll in an online program (including College Start, Organizational Leadership, Criminal Justice and Emergency Services Management).
  • 40 percent off tuition, room and board for your dependents who enroll in qualifying, on-campus programs from the College of Arts & Sciences department in McKenzie, Tenn.
  • 50 percent tuition reduction when you enroll in an online graduate program.
  • 30 percent tuition reduction for your dependents who enroll in an online graduate program.

How to Qualify for Prime’s Success Scholars Program

This program is open to any driving or non-driving associate who has been with Prime for at least 90 days. Then, you and any of your legal dependents automatically qualify for the program if you’re interested in participating.

This program is one of dozens of benefits Prime offers drivers. To learn more about Prime’s Success Scholars program visit their website. For more information on how to become part of the Prime family, please visit our website.
